Hotel Bar
A hotel bar in forest green and oak — leather-seated stools along a fluted counter, with high tables for guests who prefer to stand.
Stool seat height was set to the counter, with the footrest placed to suit it.
Leather and oiled oak were chosen because both age gracefully with use.

The brief
Seating for a hotel bar that serves coffee by day and cocktails late into the evening.

The challenge
Counter seating had to stay comfortable for long evenings, move easily for cleaning and cope with constant use.

Our approach
Oak bar stools with leather seats and footrests along the counter, high stone-topped tables for standing guests, and pedestal tables in the lounge.
