Case study / 03, Representative project
Private Residence
A calm living room in warm whites — a deep linen-wool sofa, a bouclé armchair and walnut side tables, chosen to soften a period room.
Sofa depth and seat height were set from the room rather than from a catalogue page, and fabrics were chosen from physical samples.
Bedroom pieces followed in the same oak, so the house reads as one scheme.

02 / Brief & approach
Drawn for the room,
built for service.
01
The brief
Furniture for the living and dining rooms of a family home, to be used every day and to sit easily with period detailing.
02
The challenge
Generous rooms with tall windows but few walls to place furniture against, so pieces had to look right from every side.
03
Our approach
A low sofa and a rounded armchair grouped on a wool rug, turned walnut side tables, and a solid oak table and chairs in the dining room.
04 / Furniture
